Melbourne, Florida (FL Today) -- Two women are in custody as West Melbourne police detectives continue to sort through details involving a woman who was dragged 153-feet during a purse snatching attempt at Walmart.
Police say 33-year-old Angela Maria Siewert and Michelle Welling, 52, both of Palm Bay, worked together to target the 53-year-old woman as she loaded groceries into her vehicle late Wednesday.

Police spotted the white van, the getaway vehicle used in the purse-snatching, a short time later the same night. Police seized the vehicle and identified both women as "persons of interest in the case."
"Welling, the driver of the vehicle showed up this morning to get her vehicle," said Cmdr. Steve Wilkinson, spokesman for the West Melbourne Police Department.
Welling admitted to detectives planning the purse-snatching with Siewert.
Siewert was already in custody at the Brevard County Jail Complex on an unrelated outstanding warrant, Wilkinson said.
Charges could be filed later Thursday morning.
"What they did was extremely dangerous. The victim could easily have been killed."
